Wow, where do you begin? When was the first time you become interested in something you love? Which sport was it? I am not sure exactly but it started when I was a young boy, around 6 or 7 years old. I come from a family that is all about sports, not just the men either. I will put my sister up with any sports fan out there, male or female, it has been that way as long as I can remember.

 I first fell in love with baseball and college football when my dad started taking me to games. First the Tigers at the corner and then Michigan football in the fall, I love a college football Saturday!! That was where it started for me and grew to a passion that I still have today and can't wait to share with my children as they get older. Sports are such a great way to spend time with your family and friends, there is simply nothing better.

It's amazing as a kid when you first step inside a stadium on gameday. I can't describe the feeling when you walk through the tunnel into this huge open space, completely filled with people and the home teams colors, spectacular. It is something you never forget no matter how old you get and as a dad you can't wait to see your kids face when they finally do as well.

I love and follow all of our beloved home teams, even the Lions. If I had to pick one, it would be the Tigers simply because of how much I love baseball. Baseball is my dad's favorite sport, he played it his whole life competively and has a deep passion for it to this day. A passion that has rubbed off on me since I was a little kid, something that made this past year so incredible to share with him again. That is the beauty of sports and competetion.

 I consider myself lucky to be in such a great sports town considereing my passion. We are so lucky to have seen the championship teams we have over my lifetime, not many cities can claim as many championships in multiple sports like Detroit can in our recent history. Outside of the sad sack Lions, every team was produced at least one championship including Michigan and Michigan State. We are trully lucky!!
