Macomb County Habitat for Humanity

Dear Board of HFH of Macomb County,

The long waiting for the gift reports is over... Thank you for continuing supporting Habitat forc

Humanity in Romania. Your generous gifts from this past summer mean a lot the families

being assisted.

HFH Beius started collaboration for 3 years with the City Hall of Oradea in order to assist 143

families living in inhumane conditions, no running water, no heating, no electricity, leaking

roofs, all of them situated in a few apartment blocks left unfinished after the' 89 revolution.

God is good and with your help and help of people like you, we are able to advance in the

work of eliminating poverty housing here in Romania, one family at a time. More than 800

families were assisted at this moment, and part of your contribution ($972) was utilized for

one third of the costs for reparation/rehabilitation of a home in Oradea,

In addition, in September HFH Romania hosted the largest volunteering event in Europe -- Euro 27

Habitat Build; 27 families fulfilled their dream of having a new home working along with more

than 500 volunteers, VIPs. With the help of God, this blitz brought great satisfaction for

everybody involved. $1,581 of your contribution was used to install the water and electrical

components in one of these houses.

With this level of support from you families were able to move quicker in their home.

I'd like to end by wishing you all the best and God's blessings in all you do. Thanks for being

an encouragement. It is so very nice to have supporters like you and please keep us in mind

and in your heart for the future.

In Christ,

Adrian Ciiorna

Warunek

I am Jennifer Warunek. of Macomb County  I am 27 years old and a single mom of two kids, Chelsea (8 years old) and Ethan (3 years old). I was married for 5 years. I got divorced in 2004. It has been hard raising two children on my own since the divorce. There is so much to juggle when you are a single parent, work, the kid's school and their activities, and maintaining our home. I have learned to take help from friends and family. They are great by helping me with the kids and they support my daily life.
