Prepare to Build the Ultimate American Dream By Steve of Wonder Construction

The ultimate American dream is to build your own brand new home. But how do you avoid those common nightmare building stories? It's easy, really. Builders really DON'T want you to have a nightmare building story. It hurts future sales, causes them aggravation and costs money. But with some preparation on your part, you can have a better building experience for all involved. The key is KNOWLEDGE. Not just a one page advice column on a site that advertises builders. No, you need in depth information about all the aspects of buying and building a brand new home. Builder bashing is not my thing, so I believe in elevating you to a knowledgeable plateau to avoid expensive and stressful situations.
If you are prepared BEFORE you even start shopping for your brand new home, you will be vastly ahead of the game. Especially remember, to keep emotions out of the buying process. That is sometimes the hardest thing to do, but necessary. Emotions will cost you money! Here is a real quick synopsis of vital things to do:
- Be Prepared, Plan Ahead and Gain KNOWLEDGE!
- Think Things Through and DON'T Buy on Emotion
- Don't rely on Cousin Mel or brother Tom and their nightmare building stories to give you all the information you need.
- Ask the right questions
- Document EVERYTHING!
- Be Involved
- Avoid Pink Toilets!!! You'll have to email me to know what this is. CRUCIAL.
- Understand Your Builder and his Role
- Understand Your Role
This is just the tip of the iceberg but will help you tremendously. I'd be glad to help anyone and this is FREE.
