The latest in Boomer birthdays is the Giving Gift. Instead of feting the birthday honoree with gifts, friends gather to give a gift in their friend's name. Recently an Ohio woman met six friends at the local Red Cross office where they donated blood to celebrate her birthday. They toasted the birthday girl with glasses of orange juice! In Georgia a group celebrated their friend's birthday with cake for the crew during a Habitat for Humanity work day.
