The 7th Annual Bath City Run/Walk will begin at 8 am on Saturday, August 16th in Mt. Clemens.  All proceeds from the day will benefit the Bath City Festival and Turning Point.  Turning point is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering women and children who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault in Macomb County.

There will be several races, including some trail running, to keep your eye on or even race yourself.   Macomb County’s most favorite clown, Rosco, will begin the “Tot Trot” race which is free to all participants.  Those who complete the non-competitive 2 Mile Walk will receive a certificate of completion.  There will be both male and female winners of the competitive 4 Mile Run who will receive awards.   Registrants over the age of 15 will be $25; ages 11-15 will cost $15 and kids 10 and under are free.

There will also be a delicious low cost pancake breakfast served at AMVETS Post 29, which is located across from the finish line.

So grab those running shoes and support a great cause this coming Saturday in Macomb County.
