How does your garden grow? If your answer is “Not at all” or “It’s full of weeds,” then you need to make your way to the Sierra Club this Thursday night (May 29). From 6-9 pm you will not only get great gardening tips, you’ll also be treated to free beer.

Good Neighbors Garden will be on hand to give you information on what plants grow well in our area, how you can garden using less water and how you can make a green haven in tiny, urban spaces. There will also be trivia and live music from Sonic Birds.

Gardening is getting to be a lost art, but is doesn’t have to be. You don’t need acres of land to have a garden. Even a window box can work wonders for the look of a place. Cultivating plant life is good for you and for the environment.

Who do we have to thank for this night of knowledge and free beer? You can thank The Berkley Front, Moosejaw, Dr. Ronda Dalton/Healing Rhythm and No Plastic Bag Lady.

The Berkley Front  is located at  087 12 Mile Rd, Berkley, MI 48072. Call The Berkley Front at 248-547-3331 to learn more about this event.
