Happy Earth Day to you…Happy Earth Day, Happy Earth Day...you know the rest of the song. Earth Day will be celebrated on April 22, 2007. Created by the EPA in 1970, the purpose of the day is to raise awareness of the impact each of us has on the earth and the environment we live in.
What do you plan to do differently on Earth Day? What can you do to make our environment better right here in Macomb County? What can you do right in your home or backyard?
According to Terry Wisner, "The Life Saver Dude," there are many things each of us can do to improve our physical environment. Take a look at these web sites and decide to do something good for the earth we live on and the towns we live in. You can Partner with a child, friend, business associate, sibling or spouse. Have fun...make a difference.
