Macomb County Habitat Vision 2020 Colchester Farms Breaks Ground
February 16, 2007 by habitat commentThis weekend starts a very important step for Macomb County Habitat for Humanity’s Vision 2020 Campaign. On Saturday, February 17, 2007 from 1p.m. to 4p.m. Macomb County Habitat for Humanity is going to be starting their development of the Colchester Farms subdivision as part of the Vision 2020 Campaign. It is the MCHFH vision that sub-standard housing in Macomb County be eliminated one house at a time.
We are looking for a few photographers and videographers to come out and help us get the word out into the community.
If you would like to come out and see what is going on in the Colchester Neighborhood you are more than welcome to do so from 1p.m. to 4p.m. Our Volunteer Coordinator will be onsite to assist you with answering any questions.
Directions are as followed: I-94 to the North River Rd Exit#237 toward Mt. Clemens, Turn Left onto North River Rd, Turn Left onto Irwin Dr., Turn Left onto Henry B. Joy, and Left onto Stepnitz. The Property being surveyed is bordered by Stepnitz and Colchester streets. Parking is on the street and is acceptable on both sides.
