It has been a tremendous year for Care House. Celebrating our 10th Anniversayr of service to Macomb County children and their families has given us an opportunity to pause and remember just how many lives we have touched through the years. Since 1996, Care House has conducted over 2,600 forensic interviews of children, performed over 200 forensic medical evaluations of children and has provided services to over 5,000 families.

This 10th anniversary year was also a time to remember and give a standing ovation the many foundations, corporations, businesses and wonderful individuals who gave their time, talents and financial contributions which allowed us to meet our mission more effectively.

On the first page of our Annual Report, we reported the results of the many renovations to the Care House facility. We cannot begin to express how much appreciation we feel to those business leaders in the community who provided much needed construction, repairs, maintenance and materials that went into the beautification of Care House.

Finally, we must acknowledge and thank the team that makes Care House so special. Our multi-disciplinary team of professionals from child protective services, law enforcement, prosecution, medical, mental health and victim advocacy provide hope and healing to victims of child abuse.
